伯克利中国学生学者联谊会(BCSSA)成立于1989年，是由广大在加州大学伯克利分校学习、工作的中国学生、学者为主体，以志愿服务为基础组成的非营利、非政治性组织。自成立之日，BCSSA一直本着服务于在伯克利广大中国学生、学者的宗旨，致力于丰富课余生活，增进大家之间及和美国社会的交往，密切大家与校友及国内的联系，拓展未来发展空间。目前，我们在网站上的注册会员人数已经超过2000人，参加活动的活跃人数超过800人，成为美国西岸湾区最大的中国学生社团组织。
Founded in 1989, Berkeley Chinese Students and Scholars Association (BCSSA) is a non-profit and non-political organization formed by Chinese students and scholars studying and working at University of California, Berkeley and is based on the voluntary service of its members. Since its founding twenty years ago, BCSSA has always been dedicated to the goal of promoting social, intellectual and cultural activities for Chinese students and scholars at UC Berkeley as well as other interested members in the Berkeley community. Currently, there are more than 2000 members registered on our website, and more than 800 people are our active members. BCSSA has become the largest Chinese student association in the Bay Area.
伯克利中国学生学者联谊会执行委员会共设6个部门，分别为学术交流部、艺术表演部、财务与福利部、信息与系统部、公共关系部以及体育与活动部。在各部门的努力和协作之下，BCSSA成功组织了多次大型活动和各种系列主题活动，并且成为了伯克利的华人社区与其他社团、组织、机构等的坚实有效的联系桥梁。
The BCSSA Executive Committee consists of six departments: Department of Academic Exchange (DAE), Department of Art & Performance (DAP), Department of Finance & Welfare (DFW), Department of Information & Systems (DIS), Department of Public Relations (DPR), and Department of Sports & Activities (DSA). With departmental efforts and inter-departmental cooperation, BCSSA has successfully organized numerous mega functions and series of events, becoming a solid connection between the Berkeley Chinese community and other associations, organizations or social sectors.
